Charity Partner

We believe all successful businesses should put something back into society, over and above the employment they create. It's the responsible thing to do. At ACS we choose a new charity partner each year so that we can give back to different much needed charities.

These have included Nordoff Robins, Anthony Nolan, the Bone Cancer Research Trust, Children in Need and the Yorkshire Children's Trust. Over the ten years we have been operational ACS have raised over £63,000.

2018’s charity partner is the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. The charity was chosen in 2018 as the cause is close to many of our employee’s hearts. The charity raises funds for research and aims to educate the public on the facts of Lung Cancer through awareness campaigns. They also provide information and support to victims of lung cancer. ACS aim to raise £20,000 in 2018 through fundraising with several events and activities in the pipeline. We are already on track and have raised almost £2,000 this year.

/ To date we have raised money for these charities by:

/ Donations

Donating 10p from every single order we receive

/ Fundraising

Staging numerous fundraising days

/ Salary Scheme

Operating an optional salary sacrifice scheme

/ What do we do?

At ACS we like to think outside the box when it comes to raising money for Charity. Our fundraising ranges from holding bake sales, running marathons and fancy dress days to the more obscure activities such as chest-waxing and biggest fundraiser competitions.

We believe we often go the extra mile, quite literally - from trekking in machu picchu and climbing mount Kilimanjaro to cycling to mont blanc.

This year we are planning many fundraising activities and events. In the pipeline we have a charity football tournament, a charity golf tournament, regular lunchtime quizzes and we are supporting many of our colleagues to quit smoking. Please help us to reach our 2018 target of £20,000. Speak to your account manager to find out how you can support us.
