ACS Supporting Children in Need 2011
This week, we have dedicated our week to Children in Need! Employees have been set tasks to raise money in the most creative way possible and get the general public to dig deep and give to Charity!
We have coincided our Q4 ACS Big Brother promotion with Children in Need, setting tasks for the ACS Big Brother teams in to earn money to spend on their fundraising and in turn raise as much money as they can.
Throughout the week ACS will be donating £1 from every order placed with us to children in need

ACS Big Brother
On the 3rd October ACS launched a brand new internal promotion – ACS Big Brother. Employees have become housemates for this 3 month long promotion and will be answering to Big Brother throughout. The promotion comes complete with a diary room, weekly tasks and secret tasks. ACS Supporting Macmillan in Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning
On the 29th September ACS employees supported Macmillan Cancer Support by getting involved with the Words Biggest Coffee Morning. Employees brought in home made cakes to sell and bought raffle tickets to raise money. The whole day was a great success and In total, we raised £422.22 for a fantastic cause.
ACS Summer BBQ
On Saturday 13th August we held our annual ACS summer BBQ to celebrate ACS’s 3rd Birthday. All employees, partners and kids were invited and everyone enjoyed the fairground themed day, including the giant Helter-skelter, tea cups, stalls, swing boats, pony rides and much more. A great day was had by all.

ISO 14001 Accreditation
ACS have now been awarded the ISO 14001 accreditation, this recognises the active steps that we have been taking in order to minimise the impact of our activities, products and services on the environment.
We have recognised how we could further improve our processes sequentially improving our environmental impact, some of the steps we have taken are:
- We use a network of UK suppliers to reduce the number of miles your products travel.
- We buy all of our energy from a renewable energy provider.
- We offer a choice of environmentally friendly products including recycled and unbleached options.
- We are a Zero landfill company, recycling all of our waste.
- We use energy saving lighting in our office.

We are pleased to announce that for 2011 we are once again partnering with HP. This means that we can pass on great deals and discounts from HP directly to you, the customer.

ACS Supporting Children in Need
During a fun day dedicated to the UK’s favourite charity the team at ACS spent time conducting zany and unusual activities selling office products donated to the Children in Need cause by ACS. Not only did they organise a number of different selling techniques but they also organised raffles and washed cars and windscreens in the freezing cold for donations. All their hard work paid off as we managed to raise £820.67 for this worthy cause.

ACS go zero land fill
We are very proud to announce that as of 1st February 2010 we are now a zero land fill company. By recycling every piece of waste produced by our business we have been able to remove the need for council collection and therefore sending zero waste to land fills.
