In December 2018 ACS colleagues compiled Christmas comfort boxes for local Cancer patients at Bradford’s Marie Curie hospice.
The boxes had things like hot water bottles, blankets, socks, trays, plastic cutlery because of the metallic taste during chemo, puzzle books, power-banks, journals, hats, creams, lip balms and teas inside. The staff were ecstatic and told Steven, who dropped them off, that one of the boxes would be given to a 90-year-old lady who didn’t have any family.
